Steve works with individuals who have been through a difficult life-changing event(s) providing them tailored, nurturing, intensive and dynamic support to help them change direction to ensure they have all they need to thrive.

Meet Steve Morrison - an experienced Counsellor, Life Coach, Ordained Minister and Thanatologist.

Steve is the Chaplain in Residence at the prestigious Australian School, Ballarat Grammar. In this role, he inspires, counsels, and supports the 1,900 students (280 boarders) and over 500 staff. He provides spiritual guidance and pastoral care to the entire school community, officiates 6 weekly chapel services and many other special events throughout the year, and is a calm, positive and inspiring presence.

Steve is greatly gifted and experienced in conducting funerals, having conducted over 1,300 funerals in his career. He provides specialised counselling for those walking through their individualised grief journey. Steve has been recognised by the Association for Death Education and Counselling (USA) as a 'Fellow of Thanatology,' further highlighting his expertise in the scientific study of death and the losses brought about as a result.
One of his businesses known as “Oh My Grief” provides education, information and counselling to nurses, clergy, teachers, students and service providers through seminars, blogs, an online presence and one-one work.
Steve has been an ordained minister since 1995, with pastoral positions ranging from Youth and Music, Missions, Senior Minister, and National Executive. He holds a master’s degree from the Sydney College of Divinity majoring in theology and leadership, a Post Graduate Certificate in Grief, Loss and Trauma Counselling from Flinders University and is currently studying Divinity at the University of Melbourne.
As a proven cross-cultural and multi-faith leader, Steve has spoken in the United Kingdom, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, India, Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa, Vanuatu, and throughout Australia.

In 2019, Steve began Steve Morrison Coaching to assist people in quickly changing their situations and living again with energy, passion, and fun. Steve's incredible gift for coaching has helped professionals, business owners, and people from all walks of life achieve their full potential. Clergy / Ministers / Pastors from all over the world seek him out for his incredible gift of helping them walk through and overcome burnout in ministry.
Steve lives with a drive and commitment to loving life that is contagious. He has been married to his wife Naomi for 25 years and together they have three daughters: Taylor (22), Andie (19) and Ashley (16).
